RRCL has strong ties with noted academic institutions including Toronto Metropolitan University, the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo and George Brown College.

Russell Richman completed his Ph.D. in the Sustainable Buildings Group under the supervision of Professor K. D. Pressnail (2008). Dr. Richman’s research focussed on development of the SDBZ Curtain Wall – a more sustainable alternative to traditional curtain wall.

Dr. Richman is currently a Professor in the Department of Architectural Science, Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science at Toronto Metropolitan University.  Dr. Richman is also the Associate Chair, Graduate Studies, Building Science for the Graduate Program in Building Science.
